Microsoftは10月29日、「Microsoft PowerToys」の安定版v0.49.0を公開した。

今回のアップデートでは、安定版初となる「Video Conference Mute」が実装。ホットキーでカメラとマイクのオン・オフを切り替えできる機能。
そのほか、「Mouse utilities」というマウスカーソルの位置を見失ってもすぐに見つけ出せるようにする機能も実装。PowerToysの開発リードを務めるClint Rutkas氏が10月20日にTwitterで予告していたものと同様とみられる。

同機能はCtrlキーを2回押下することで利用できる。
そのほかの変更点として、PowerRenameのUI更新や、PowerToys Runのバグ修正なども行なわれている。
