ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントは12月2日、定額制サービス「PlayStation Plus」（PS Plus）について、2021年12月におけるアップデート情報を公開。フリープレイ対象タイトルとして、セガのPS4用ソフト「JUDGE EYES：死神の遺言 新価格版」などを配信すると発表した。
PS Plusは、追加料金無しで遊べるフリープレイやオンラインマルチプレイ、タイトルや追加アイテムなどを特別割引価格で購入できるなどの加入者限定コンテンツやサービスを提供している。
2021年12月のフリープレイタイトルとして、前述した「JUDGE EYES：死神の遺言 新価格版」のほか、「レゴ DC スーパーヴィランズ」（PS4）、「The Sexy Brutale（セクシー・ブルテイル）」（PS4）、「Godfall: Challenger Edition」（PS5/PS4）も配信される。提供期間は12月7日から2022年1月3日までを予定。なお、対象期間中にダウンロードすれば、メンバーであるうちは提供期間終了後でもプレイが可能となっている。
